Fine Print: Payment due in total prior to shoot. Photographer will not be confirmed until payment is received. Payment is nonrefundable for business loss after booking. There will be no penalty to the company for a “weather reschedule.” Iowa Headshots will not reimburse for “no shows.” There are no refunds after the shoot. Company is responsible for individuals’ clothing/style choices. If extra people are photographed day of (if they can fit into the time scheduled), company will be responsible for additional payment prior to delivery of all final edited images.

The Session
Headshot photo sessions are designed to be fun and easy. As we shoot, we'll review the images together and by the end of the session you'll have a selection of favorites from which to choose your final image(s).
​
Clothing
Choose subtle colored shirts/blouses and dark colored jackets. Avoid patterns, bright colors or any items that draw attention away from your face. Make sure whatever you wear is well pressed. Some colors are reflective in nature, neons, bright pinks & reds, yellows, these should be used with caution.
​
Hair and Makeup
Having your hair and makeup professionally done is highly recommended. We recommend having your hair professionally done somewhere you're familiar and comfortable with. Do I need professional makeup?
Ensure that your skin is matte. While most skincare products offer added moisture and glow, for your photo session, your face should be oil-free. Hair should be styled to your liking, but tame. Consider getting a manicure, and using lotion on your hands, arms and neck.

Tip: Bring your comb/brush and your makeup to the shoot for any touchups.
​
​
Jewelry & Watches – Keep jewelry minimal. To avoid causing glare, choose pieces that aren’t overly shiny.
​
Your Files - Share and Print Anywhere
After you've selected your final image(s), they'll be retouched and you will receive high-resolution digital files and limited general licensing for the images. This means you can use them for printing, posting online and sharing with family and friends - anytime. Exceptions such as placement on products for sale and/or books applies and may incur additional fees so let us know if you need more information about it.

Turnaround
The typical turnaround time is typically two weeks. A rush can be ordered for an additional fee.
​
After Booking
You'll receive an email confirmation for your appointment. If you need to reschedule, you'll be able to do it over email.

Directions
The studio is located at 1105 6th St., Nevada, IA on the corner of 6th St & K Ave. There is FREE parking directly in front of the studio and along the side street.
